Grassy Knoll

Keith Crawford's Art Projects

Varied cultural wave designs are used in a way where they seem to swap places. This speaks of movement and exchange between cultures. Similar to the struggle to understand the cultural habits of others the images reveal themselves reluctantly.

This piece uses recycled New Zealand native timber that was at one time the floorboards of the Mandeville Hotel built in 1860 and destroyed in the Christchurch Earthquake of 2011.
